Can I use my Extraordinary card overseas?

Yes, you can use your Extraordinary debit card overseas, provided it is used within the approved sector types designated by your employer. Here are some important points to consider:

 

  1. Approved Sector Types:

    • Ensure that the merchant or service provider overseas falls within the approved sector types supported by your Extraordinary card.

  2. Foreign Exchange Fees:

    • When using your Extraordinary card for transactions overseas, you may be subject to foreign exchange fees, similar to other payment cards.

    • These fees are determined by the financial institutions involved in processing the transaction and are not controlled by Extraordinary.

 

Before traveling abroad and using your Extraordinary card internationally, we recommend checking the accepted sector types and understanding any potential foreign exchange fees that may apply.

Please ensure:

-If you have a digital card, you install the Extraordinary app and add the digital card to your wallet before you go overseas

-If you have a physical card, you complete you first in-store transaction, in New Zealand to activate your card
